Decoration Day
We are to Remember

Yesterday was Memorial Day, were you able to pause and remember?
The first Memorial Day was called Decoration Day occurring in 1868, after an organization of Union Veterans called for decorating war graves with flowers, which were in bloom. This practice became widespread. In 1971, the congress changed Memorial Day from
every May 30 to the last Monday in May, as a remembrance of our loyal lost soldiers and remembering our own loved ones.

We visited the graves of who we love and ate out yesterday, because of the many who went before us.
Exodus 13:3 The Lord said to Moses, "Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of slavery, for by a strong hand the Lord brought you out from this place."
The Lord told the Israelites to remember.
To remember all the Lord had done and how He brought them out of slavery.
To remember, He had not left them all those 40 years. Going before them by day in a pillar of cloud and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light.
To remember He did not depart from the people.
Do we remember what the Lord has done for us?
If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, He will never leave nor forsake us.
Let us remember our freedom.
Until next time. Pam
